Obi Toppin
Founder / CEO
Obi Toppin is an NBA athlete, entrepreneur, and community leader committed to creating opportunities for young people through athletics, education, and mentorship. As founder of the Toppin Family Foundation, he works to provide resources, experiences, and support systems that help children and families thrive. Guided by the values of family, faith, gratitude, and community, Obi uses the platform he has earned through basketball to inspire and empower the next generation.
Beyond the court, Obi leads several philanthropic and business initiatives, including the annual Obi Open charity golf tournament and youth basketball camps. Through these efforts, he continues to invest in youth development, mentorship, and community impact, helping young people build confidence, pursue their goals, and reach their full potential
Roni Toppin
Founder / President
Roni Toppin is a lifelong educator, mentor, and community leader from Brooklyn NY. She is Obi’s mother, number one supporter, and is dedicated to empowering young people and strengthening families. Roni has retired from a distinguished career as a public school educator supporting students with special needs. She is deeply involved in community initiatives, youth programs, educational outreach, and family support efforts, helping countless individuals reach their full potential.
As President of the Toppin Family Foundation, Roni brings decades of experience in education, mentorship, and community engagement. She helps guide the foundation’s vision and programs focused on education, youth development, athletics, and family support. Through her leadership, Roni remains committed to creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and building a lasting impact that extends far beyond the game.
Aidan C Marshall
Director of DevelopmentAidan C. Marshall is a designer, creative, and community advocate from Boston, MA. He is dedicated to creating opportunities for young people through athletics, education, and creative development. As Director of Development, Aidan leads partnership initiatives, community programming, fundraising efforts, and creative strategy to help expand the foundation's impact.
Aidan has built his career at the union of sports, culture, and community. Through his creative agency, ACM, and his work alongside Obi, he has helped develop impactful campaigns, events, and community-focused initiatives. He Co-Founded The 14 League, a Boston summer basketball league that raises funds and awareness for community causes. Beyond sports, Aidan has hosted design workshops for students, partnered with programs such as Family Flea Market, and is committed to helping the next generation reach their full potential.
